Week 4 of the NFL season is here, and we have three plays with a ton of value. We are taking the Packers to cover the spread at home against the Vikings. Sam Darnold and the Vikings have looked terrific this season, but Green Bay’s defense presents a stricter test.

Vikings vs. Packers  (Sunday 1:00 PM, EST)

Packers -2.5 (-125) at FanDuel Sportsbook

These teams have had the most surprising seasons in 2024 so far. Sam Darnold and the Vikings are rolling, 3-0, and Malik Willis has done a great job filling in for Jordan Love, Green Bay is 2-1. It is still unknown if Love will return for this critical matchup on Sunday.

It was unclear how Minnesota was going to perform in 2024 with quarterback JJ McCarthy undergoing a season-ending injury, but Sam Darnold has been magnificent. He has thrown for 657 yards to go with eight touchdowns and two interceptions. Darnold has taken advantage of utilizing the best receiver in football, Justin Jefferson, who has 273 receiving yards through three games.

It was also uncertain how Green Bay would perform with quarterback Jordan Love gone, but Malik Willis has stepped up and led this team to two straight victories. He has thrown for 324 yards and has done a great job of not turning the ball over. 

We expect the home team to come out and hand the Vikings their first loss of the season. Lambeau Field is a callous place to play, and we expect the Packers' defense to get after Darnold all day. 

Eagles vs. Buccaneers  (Sunday 1:00 PM, EST)

Under 42.5 (-104) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The Eagles take on the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay, and we expect a low-scoring affair. Philadelphia’s offense has not looked great this season, but its defense has been very good. According to Cold Hard Football Facts, Philadelphia ranks second in total team yards differential. 

Tampa Bay is coming off a loss to Denver, in which their defense was confused all game. This was very uncharacteristic for the Buccaneers' defense, and we expect them to bounce back in this game. Baker Mayfield and the offense will certainly bounce back and perform better, but they are going up against a tough Eagles defense. 

Jalen Hurts has been without star receiver AJ Brown all season and the results are showing. The Eagles are 2-1 this season, but they are missing explosive plays from Brown that we have seen in year’s past. 

Look for both defenses to come out on fire and limit big plays to cash this under. 

Broncos vs. Jets (Sunday 1:00 PM, EST)

Breece Hall Over 69.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

The prop we are focusing on this week is Breece Hall over 69.5 rushing yards. Hall is a top five running back in football, but he has not yet cleared this number yet in 2024. In three games, Hall has rushed for 54, 62, and 54 yards and the line is almost touching 70. 

This number at 69.5 appears high, but tells us Hall will get plenty of touches and opportunities to clear this number. 

Cold Hard Football Facts has the Jets ranked seventh in the quality stat power rankings, and a big part of their success is what Hall can do on the ground. 

We expect Hall to get plenty of opportunities to clear this number with ease as he will be the main focus of offense with a good secondary that Denver presents.
